Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using BugSpotter ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service Description
BugSpotter is a bug reporting platform consisting of:
- SDK — JavaScript library for automatic bug capture (MIT license)
- Chrome Extension — browser extension for manual bug reporting
- Admin Panel — web application for bug management
- API — backend services for data processing and AI intelligence
The Service is available as SaaS (hosted by us) or self-hosted (on your infrastructure).
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Upload malicious code or content
- Exceed your plan's quota limits through automated abuse
- Resell access to the Service without written agreement
5. Data Ownership
Your data belongs to you. Bug reports, screenshots, session replays, and all other content you upload through the SDK or Extension remain your property. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.
You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. Plans and Payment
Free plans are available without payment. Paid plans are billed monthly in KZT (₸). Prices are listed on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Self-hosted plans are billed as a license fee and do not include infrastructure costs.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Enterprise plans include an SLA with defined uptime commitments and response times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation:
- SaaS: your data will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
- Self-hosted: your data remains on your infrastructure
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.
9. Intellectual Property
- SDK: MIT license — open source, use freely
- Backend: Fair Source license — becomes Apache 2.0 after 2 years
- Admin Panel: Proprietary, licensed as part of the Service
